O Lord, as we come to this time of worship, we acknowledge our weakness. We are easily distracted; we are often annoyed and grumpy; we bring with us the problems of home, work, and of school. So we ask that your holy and powerful Spirit will come to the aid of our weak spirits, enabling us to make this hour a truly meaningful and life-changing experience; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Leader: Lord, have mercy upon us.

* Profession of Faith - (In Unison)
We believe that God is our Father and all His children are our sisters and brothers - to be loved, cared for, and forgiven.
